Coping with COVID19 - We are OPEN ONLINE!

Well, two months ago none of us would have predicted that we would be entering week 7 (SEVEN!) of physical distancing measures to combat the spread of COVID19 with no end in sight... but here we are, in a brand new world!

Our studio has been closed this entire time and we totally miss having the kids over for classes and camps. During this past six weeks we've quickly ramped up online sales with free local delivery (thank you for your support!), as well as piloting a few online classes over Zoom with our members.

In addition to selling our own robot kits, we've added some cool electronic kits that we love to our inventory too! Learn to make circuits that are solar powered, motion powered, or use soft materials to light up an LED!  They're now available on our online shop, and are great ways to pass the time during these quarantine days. ;)  FREE delivery within east Toronto [Broadview to Victoria Park, O'Connor to the Lake]

We're also ready to launch our first Online Coding Club classes for the month May to serve parents and kids while schools in Ontario are still cancelled.

Little Robot Friends Online Coding Class Age 8+

We understand first-hand that online/remote learning for children is not as easy as it sounds, and to teach really technical concepts using tools kids have never used before is definitely a steep learning curve for both educators and learners. So after running our pilot classes, we are super excited to have gotten some incredible feedbacks from parents:

Sofia loves the online sessions and shes excited and looks forward to the next one! Great job guys! Thank you so much for doing these! I truly see with this extra time on her hands, and these sessions, her love of coding has blossomed a lot! Very grateful to you!

He loves the online classes, and quite frankly I love them too as it allows me to work while he’s busy learning. We hope you continue with them!!

She’s a HUGE fan of the classes. last week I got busy with work and looked up and she was engrossed in her project until 5pm! She would really like for them to continue.

The class will happen once a week, is 90 minutes long with a 10 minute break in the middle. We designed the session to give parents a good chunk of time during the day! ;)

Our two level of Coding Clubs are designed for age 8 and up. If your child is new to our classes, a 'bootcamp' session is mandatory to go over the tech setup and tools that we will use in class.

We're making 10 spots available for each class. Two educators will be present, with one lead instructor and a support instructor who will help each student in a separate session if needed. There's 4 sessions total in May, and the registration cost is $97+HST.
